We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with strong Financial Services / Capital Markets expertise to support data-driven initiatives in a fast-paced financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have deep analytical skills, hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, and MS Access, and a solid understanding of derivatives and the software development life cycle. This role requires strong communication, collaboration, and the ability to drive projects forward with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and cross-functional groups to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements Analyze large and complex datasets using SQL and Excel to support business decisions and project delivery Support and deliver projects within the financial services / capital markets domain, with a focus on derivatives Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and drive solutions through the SDLC Identify data gaps, process inefficiencies, and system issues; propose and articulate effective solutions Participate in design reviews, testing, and implementation activities to ensure solutions meet business objectives Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while meeting tight deadlines Facilitate discussions, brainstorm solutions, challenge assumptions when necessary, and collaborate effectively as part of a team Required Qualifications & Experience 5–7 years of Business Systems Analysis experience in a fast-paced environment Strong Capital Markets product knowledge , particularly derivatives Proven data analysis and project delivery experience in the financial services industry, preferably using MS Access Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis Solid understanding and hands-on experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to quickly gather, synthesize, and drive resolution of project tasks across cross-functional teams Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision #J-18808-Ljbffr
