As a Senior Designer, you will work with other members of the design team to develop design solutions appropriate to the context, budget and aesthetic requirements of architectural projects. You will collaborate with other professional disciplines and coordinate the design through all phases of the project. Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompiles information from reports and published documents; evaluates and analyzes the information to understand broad requirements of project Develops architectural designs, to ensure an exemplary solution is delivered that meets quality parameters, project timelines and budgetary requirements Coordinates design intent with other disciplines Integrates engineering requirements, site surveys and field review information, adhering to applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements Prepares design reports, drawings and models following office standards Performs site visitations to determine compliance with construction documents; identifies any deviations and liaises with owner and contractor to resolve issues in a timely manner Reviews project products, services, and shop drawings to ensure adherence to project documents, relevant jurisdictional codes and corporate quality controls Required SkillsExperience in all phases of the project cycle is required Architectural design software skills including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, PhotoShop, and other architectural design software Familiarity with MEP and Structural building systems and building codes is required Have successfully completed related post‑secondary education Registered with a relevant professional architectural association is an asset Required Experience10+ years of project work experience Experience in Hospitality projects is an asset Salary Range: $90,000.00 – $125,000.00 / annually NORR is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic: Race/Color/Gender/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Religion/National Origin/Disability/Veteran.#J-18808-Ljbffr
