Rollo Bay Holdings Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead their accounting and financial operations. The Opportunity Reporting to the CEO, the Financial Controller leads and supports the accounting and administrative team while overseeing all day-to-day financial operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and inventory transactions. This role is responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, managing budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow and capital needs, and ensuring strong internal controls. The position also provides strategic financial guidance to senior management, ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, supports risk management, and acts as a key liaison with auditors, financial institutions, and government agencies. Who You Are As an ideal candidate, you bring strong expertise in financial management, reporting, internal controls, and a solid understanding of Canadian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial risk management. With sharp analytical thinking, advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency, and a high degree of accuracy, you are equally comfortable leading teams as you are rolling up your sleeves in a hands‑on environment. You take full ownership of the finance function, demonstrating accountability, sound judgment, and a commitment to continuous improvement. An understanding of, or genuine interest in, agriculture is important, along with the ability to connect financial results to operational performance in a farm‑based business. Qualifications CPA designation or similar combination of experience and education; Minimum of five years of progressive accounting or controllership experience; Proven ability to manage teams, implement controls, and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting; Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work with exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
