As a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will help build the future of liquid cooling technology in a high-impact role that goes beyond traditional recruiting. You will proactively source top-tier technical and high-volume talent, act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, and deliver a world-class candidate experience. Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from strategic sourcing through to a seamless onboarding handoff, you will play a key role in continuously improving recruitment processes and strengthening CoolIT's employer brand. We are seeking a recruitment professional with a proven track record of success in both technical and high-volume hiring who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting the growth of a rapidly scaling organization. Working closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and the broader People & Culture team, you will support a diverse portfolio of recruitment needs across corporate functions, technical disciplines, and manufacturing operations. This role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact by helping attract and hire the talent required to support CoolIT's continued growth and success. RESPONSIBILITIES Full-Cycle Recruitment Manage end-to-end recruitment activities across a diverse portfolio of manufacturing, technical, operational, and professional roles. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define candidate profiles, and develop effective recruitment strategies. Proactively source and engage both active and passive candidates to support ongoing hiring needs and build talent pipelines. Maintain a high level of communication and engagement with candidates throughout the hiring process. Strategic Talent Sourcing Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to build pipelines of qualified active and passive candidates. Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, industry associations, and other sourcing channels to identify talent. Build talent communities and maintain pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill positions. Continuously evaluate and implement new sourcing approaches to improve hiring outcomes. Hiring Manager Partnership Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by providing market intelligence, compensation insights, and recruitment best practices. Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders across manufacturing, operations, engineering, and corporate functions. Ensure hiring managers are informed and engaged throughout the recruitment process. Candidate Experience & Employer Branding Deliver a positive, professional, and engaging candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process. Represent the CoolIT employer brand in a consistent and compelling manner. Support initiatives that enhance brand recognition and attract diverse talent. Promote inclusive hiring practices and diverse candidate pipelines. Recruitment Operations & Continuous Improvement Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment data within the applicant tracking system. Monitor recruitment metrics and provide insights regarding hiring activity, pipeline health, and recruitment effectiveness. Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, workflows, and candidate experiences. Support the ongoing evolution of talent acquisition practices within a growing organization. THE INDIVIDUAL The ideal candidate is an experienced Talent Acquisition professional who combines strong full-cycle recruitment expertise with a proactive, consultative approach to talent acquisition. They are comfortable managing a diverse portfolio of requisitions and thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve quickly and hiring demands remain high. This individual enjoys building relationships, partnering with leaders, and taking ownership of recruitment outcomes. They are highly resourceful, comfortable sourcing passive talent, and willing to actively engage candidates through multiple channels rather than relying solely on inbound applicants. They are adaptable, resilient, and energized by supporting a growing organization through periods of change and expansion. Most importantly, they are someone who can quickly establish credibility with hiring managers, integrate into an evolving Talent Acquisition team, and make an immediate contribution. Education & Certifications Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline. Additional education or professional development in recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources is considered an asset. Experience Minimum of 5 years of progressive recruitment and talent acquisition experience. Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruitment across a combination of manufacturing, operations, technical, engineering, corporate, or professional positions. Experience supporting high-volume recruitment environments while maintaining quality hiring outcomes. Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and acting as a consultative recruitment advisor. Experience working within a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, construction, or high-growth environment is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruitment technologies; experience with UKG is considered an asset. Experience supporting organizational growth, workforce scaling, or significant hiring initiatives is considered an asset. Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship. LOCATION Calgary, Alberta WORK ENVIRONMENT The role is based at CoolIT Systems' corporate office in Calgary, Alberta, operating Monday to Friday during regular business hours.
