Job Description: Middleware Administrator- IIS, MQ Skills: Middleware_JBoss Administration, Windows Server. Experience Required: 5+ Years Experience. Responsibilities Regular Operations Support. Asset and Competency Development (update existing SOPs and create new ones based on day‑to‑day activities). Strive for best practices in the industry, analyze the existing environment and propose remediation plans. Must‑Haves Strong Windows Server implementation, troubleshooting, and support (2012 and 2016). Administration and configuration of IIS 7+. Strong knowledge of PowerShell / PowerCLI scripting and automation. Hands‑on experience with IIS servers (HTML, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, Service‑Oriented Architecture). Operation and administration of IIS web servers across Staging, Demo, and Production environments. Troubleshooting and responding to all IIS‑related application issues. Domain operations support for network and server monitoring related to web hosting. Managing web services, third‑party SSL certificates, and general server configurations (patch installation, web server security, administration scripts, authentication modes). Experience with WebLogic administration: installation, configuration, tuning, and deployment of applications. Knowledge of creating and configuring domains in WebLogic. Knowledge of configuring, tuning, and managing Apache web servers in Linux environments. Experience with JDBC, JMS, web services, security standards, LDAP, SSL, preferably with Open AM. Ability to identify issues and provide rapid resolutions. Knowledge of capturing and analyzing thread dumps and heap dumps. Experience in analyzing and fine‑tuning server parameters (JVM size, thread pool size, garbage collection) for improved performance. Good to Have Performing in‑depth technical root cause analysis for high‑priority IIS issues and recommending tuning adjustments to resolve complex performance problems. Providing input and insight on web services architecture and build processes; setting standards for new application configuration. Assisting with application release process improvements and automation; mentoring team members on IIS configurations and architecture best practices. Collaboration with infrastructure and application development teams to ensure optimal performance of IIS‑related websites. Experience in IIS administration, installation, migration, and configuration. Strong understanding of Windows Server 2008/2012, load balancers, general networking, and firewall concepts. Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Log analysis and configuration skills. Experience designing and architecting web servers with clustering and load balancing technologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working with IIS 7.5 – websites, virtual directories, application pools; familiarity with basic IIS security. Experience with HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, clustering, load balancing, and Oracle RAC. Experience in WebLogic Operations Control. Good knowledge of creating and configuring domains in Oracle HTTP Server (OHS). Knowledge of configuring the plugins between OHS and WebLogic server. Linux command and shell scripting knowledge.
