The Executive Director provides operational leadership by overseeing daily operations, supporting all departments, and ensuring effective program delivery. The role ensures all operations align with organizational policies, funding requirements, agreements, and the strategic direction set by Chief & Council. Duties & Responsibilities Leadership Provide leadership and oversight to all departments Implement decisions, policies, and strategic Prepare reports, briefings, and recommendations for leadership Financial & Administrative Oversight Work with Finance with budgeting, financial controls, and reporting Ensure compliance with funding agreements, audits, and financial policies Oversee administrative systems, records management Grant management, reporting deadlines Support workplace health and safety, human resources policies, and employment standards Community & Stakeholder Relations A liaison with funding agencies, government partners, and external organizations Support community members and staff Qualifications Education & Experience: Knowledge of funding agreements, governance structures, and accountability requirements Ability to work respectfully within a political and community-based environment Commitment to confidentiality and ethical leadership Must be able to provide an acceptable Criminal Record Check Preference will be given to qualified Indigenous applicants (First Nations, Yetis, Inuit) in accordance with our commitment to equity, diversity, and community representation.
