You are an experienced Commercial Manager with a minimum of 10 years post‑graduate experience in a similar role or environment. This full‑time permanent role will see you represent Turner & Townsend in our client’s office. The position requires in‑office presence four days per week* and may change depending on client needs. *On‑site presence and requirements may change depending on our clients' needs. Job Description Provide specialist commercial management advice and guidance to our public sector client. Manage the project budget, providing commercial management services, producing and presenting financial reports, and offering timely commercial advice. Handle change control management in line with contract framework requirements, including tracking and documenting changes, administering early warning provisions and negotiating contractual change. Contribute to the defence of inland contract claims and review financial information. Manage communication between Turner & Townsend and the client. Support the review and development of new processes, and streamline transactional activities. Proactively build relationships with key stakeholders and develop business opportunities. Mentor and support the professional growth of junior colleagues. -player Qualifications Demonstrable experience in managing the commercial aspects of complex, large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary projects in real estate. More than 10 years of experience in a similar role. A passion for delivering exceptional client service. A high level of attention to detail. Strong communication & facilitation skills, with a natural ability to build relationships. Professional accreditations such as PQS/CEC, MRICS or equivalent. Cost management experience on real‑estate projects exceeding $100M. A recognised degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Commercial Management, Project Management). If the degree is obtained outside Canada, an equivalency verification will be required. SMSStandby /Be or be able to quickly gain a government of Canada security clearance (Reliability level minimum). Other qualities that would be advantageous: Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in commercial software (e.g., CostX, Aconex/Unifier). Government of Canada Secret clearance.
