Production Manager You will lead and inspire manufacturing teams to act in a safety‑first manner and deliver high‑quality products to our customers.Your roleYou are responsible for managing the production operation with focus on Safety & wellbeing, Quality, Customer Service and Costs, ensuring all product lines attain due dates and reduce potential missed customer orders.You drive development within the department to ensure a cross‑trained team at Production line manager and Operator levels, accounting for succession planning and identification of future leaders.You carry out regular broad load trend analysis to optimize capacity plans and maintain the optimal level of direct staff, reviewing departmental utilisation & efficiency and identifying root causes of lost productivity.You drive and contribute actively towards reducing year‑on‑year product cost movements by improving production utilisation & efficiency and ensuring all Continuous Improvement activities are resourced, managed and successfully completed.You will be responsible for compliance with and support the Health, Safety and Environment statements, policies and procedures, ensuring all H&S audits are carried out and annual assessments conducted, investigating any EHS incident to drive a Zero Harm culture.You will be part of any New Product introduction teams, ensuring new products enter manufacturing in a well‑planned/optimised manner and influencing product design for ease and consistency of manufacture, including supporting documentation and validation activities.QualificationsSeveral years’ proven experience as a Leader in a GMP manufacturing management environment.IT literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.Self‑motivated, reliable, able to work on own initiative, manage time effectively and possess a desire to succeed.Demonstrate leadership and cross‑functional collaboration.Change agent with the ability to motivate and empower teams to deliver.Excellent experience in people management.Benefits26 days’ holiday with the option to buy or sell an additional 10.Up to 10% employer pension contribution.Share and bonus scheme.Access to flexible benefits including private medical insurance and dental cover.Corporate Social Responsibility opportunities: 2 paid volunteering days per year and support from the 24/7 employee assistance programme.As an equal opportunity employer, we welcome applications from individuals with disabilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
