About the Role The Division of Supportive and Palliative Care (DSPC) seeks a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our young and dynamic research team. Our research projects seek to improve care for patients with cancer and other serious illnesses by developing, evaluating and implementing novel models of healthcare service delivery for palliative care, including the use of artificial intelligence. The research coordinator will perform a variety of activities under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and/or her designate: Key Responsibilities Screen and recruit research participants Conduct semi-structured interviews or surveys with research participants at various settings (e.g. in-patient, out-patient, residential settings, virtual settings) Extract clinical data from medical records Enter and manage study data Assist in literature reviews and survey development Assist with preparation of presentations and manuscripts Attend to the administrative and logistic needs of research projects, including IRB submissions and report writing Be involved in educational research activities related to DSPC Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or social sciences or with 2 years of relevant experience in these fields Prior experience or evidence of knowledge in conducting interviews/survey research/ scientific writing would be advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr
