We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Rock Tools Facility Planning Lead (90-day summer student role) to join our team. The Rock Tools Facility Planning Lead is responsible for planning and designing facility layouts and options plan. A key aspect of the responsibility is building a digital catalogue for establishing permanent long‑term service facilities and short‑term mobile service facilities. What you will be doing Prioritize safety in all job plans and activities. Develop a detailed plan / layout and configuration of existing Sandvik Rock Tools Service Facilities. Establish multiple Facility layouts and configurations. Establish multiple Sea Can layouts and configurations. Work with new and existing suppliers to establish requirements and options. Build an equipment checklist / supplies list for facility setups. Build a complete specification list of electrical requirements for all equipment and facility options. Other duties as assigned. What you will bring along Must be actively enrolled in post‑secondary education or equivalent relevant to engineering or architecture fields. Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite and AutoCAD or similar. Excellent collaboration and active listening skills. Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. Must be motivated and organized. Valid driver’s license. Ability to work flexible working hours. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Environmental Health and Safety Adhere to the Sandvik Environmental, Health & Safety policy. Attend Environmental, Health and Safety related trainings. Perform risk assessments ("Take Five") prior to each task. Identification and reporting of hazards when relevant. Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) assigned for each task.
