The practice is well supported by established clerical staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and continuity for patients. The interdisciplinary team includes a family practice nurse, nurse practitioner, pharmacist, physiotherapy services, and social work, allowing for a holistic approach to care that addresses both medical and social determinants of health. Job Description Queens Family Health is seeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage from6 July - 28 August 2026. Locum physicians provide coverage for family practices, including inpatient and nursing home care, as well as specialist hospital and office coverage as requested. Compensation includes a minimum daily income guarantee of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 for half-day), with additional earnings if shadow billings exceed this amount. Travel expenses, including kilometrage ( within Atlantic provinces), per diems, accommodations (up to $300 per night), and airfare (up to $1,500), are reimbursed, along with travel time up to 10 hours per week.
