In operation for 30+ years, the LDI Mine is one of only two known pure palladium sources in North America. Palladium contributes to a cleaner global environment, with its leading use being in catalytic converters that reduce harmful emissions from gas-powered and hybrid vehicles. Job Description: Reporting to the Procurement Superintendent, the successful candidate will work a 14 days on/14 days off rotation at the Lac des Iles mine site. Responsibilities: Purchase materials, supplies and services for the mine site Provide periodic supervision to warehouse employees and responsible for overseeing the mine Responsible for requisition reviews, Supplier selection & development, order placement & follow up/expediting Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or SCC and/or 5 years experience in Materials Management and supervision Demonstrated communication and organizational skills Strong computer skills & knowledge of accounting processes Experience within the Mining or Manufacturing industry would be an asset Experience in contract negotiation & Implementation Prior knowledge of inventory What's in it for You: The position offers a competitive remuneration package consisting of base salary, health & medical insurance and retirement savings plan.
