Base pay range: CA$105,000.00/yr - CA$115,000.00/yr Location: Toronto, ON (Fully on-site) Employer: Winchesters Key Responsibilities Lead all financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting across active and pipeline development projects. Oversee cash flow management, project financing, and capital planning to ensure optimal use of financial resources. Collaborate with development and construction teams to monitor project budgets, identify risks, and ensure financial alignment with project timelines and business goals. Manage lender relationships and coordinate the preparation and submission of construction draw packages, compliance certificates, and covenant reporting. Prepare internal reporting packages for senior leadership and external reporting for joint venture partners, investors, and financial institutions. Supervise accounting processes related to development projects, including accounts payable, intercompany transactions, and general ledger reconciliations. Support audit processes and ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of financial systems, tools, and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications 6+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, ideally with a focus in real estate, development, or construction sectors. Strong knowledge of real estate finance, development lifecycle, and capital structuring. Proven experience with project-level financial oversight, lender reporting, and budget control. Proficiency in Excel and financial software (Yardi, MRI, or similar platforms preferred). Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making in a collaborative environment.
