Position Overview We are looking for an OT Automation Specialist to support and enhance the automated systems that power our mining, shipping, and logistics operations. In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between traditional industrial control systems and modern IT infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations across our sites. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with hands‑on experience in industrial automation, especially within Rockwell Automation environments, who is passionate about system reliability, network integration, and OT cybersecurity. Responsibilities Maintain & Support Automation Systems Monitor and maintain Rockwell PLC platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix) and HMI systems (FactoryTalk View) to ensure continuous 24/7 operational availability. Integrate Industrial Networks Work with Industrial Ethernet (EtherNet/IP) integrated with IT‑managed switches and routers to ensure secure and optimized data flow across OT and IT networks. Troubleshoot complex technical issues Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and instrumentation issues in rugged environments such as mines, ports, and warehouses Support commissioning & projects Participate in commissioning new automated equipment, performing wiring verifications, logic validation, and SCADA/HMI integration activities. Enhance OT Cybersecurity Implement OT security protocols, perform firmware updates, manage user access, and support patching initiatives aligned with IT standards Skills and Knowledge Rockwell Automation certification (e.g., CCP146, CCP151) required CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Cisco CCNA Industrial Proficiency with Studio 5000, FactoryTalk Services Platform, and VMware/Hyper‑V virtualization environments Familiarity with mining systems (crushers, conveyors), port/shipping operations, or logistics automation (AS/RS systems, cranes) Education and Experience 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in an industrial automation or operational technology environment Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field Compensation and Additional Perks Competitive Compensation based on skill set and experience starting at $90,000 per year Short Term Incentive Plan Great health benefits and vacation Company laptop, Cellphone & Commuting Allowances Great environment & culture! #J-18808-Ljbffr
