Execute flight operations with qualified crews in accordance with regulatory requirements. Ensure all flight crews meet the required standard for assigned tasks. Maintain electronic pilot training records and make them accessible on site. Ensure on‑site pilots meet requirements for BCOM PCC completion and maintenance. Assign operational and training duties to pilots and monitor compliance with Bombardier Standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct flight operations safely, legally and expeditiously. Assist in developing and maintaining flight operations manuals and related documentation. Document and report all flight safety reports, occurrences and infractions in accordance with the Flight Operations SMS. Assign a site pilot as Site Safety Pilot and ensure they have sufficient time and support to fulfill duties effectively. Forward requests to add aircraft to the TC POR to the Director of Flight Operations. How to thrive in this role? Hold a valid Canadian ATPL and a Class 1 medical. A US ATP is an asset. Have a minimum of 5,000 hours of total flight time with 1,000 hours PIC on large multi‑engine aircraft. Be flexible to work irregular hours and travel on short notice. Have previous management experience and a minimum of 2 years flight test experience. Hold a university degree. Have sound knowledge of Canadian Aviation regulations. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Be able to work without supervision. Execute the duties of an aircraft commander while maintaining a positive and cooperative relationship with crew and management. Manage stressful situations effectively. Have working knowledge of MS Office. International experience is an asset. A strong technical background in certification or training is an asset.
