The position is a full‑time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor at the University of Toronto. Responsibilities Provide outpatient psychiatry services for patients with mood disorders, including psychopharmacology and CBT (including newer forms such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). Participate fully in the clinical and academic activities of the department, including the psychiatry call system and teaching program. Adapt psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care culturally to meet the needs of the diverse community served by Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Develop community engagement and support or lead research projects. Collaborate with interdisciplinary and interprofessional teams within the Garry Hurvitz Brain Sciences program and with community partners. Qualifications MD degree. Royal College/Board Certified or Royal College/Board Eligible in Psychiatry and eligible for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Past experience or training in CBT, including newer forms of CBT. Special expertise in mood disorders and CBT. Track record of excellence in teaching, given the frequent presence of learners. Compensation Salary range of $400,000–$450,000 per annum, based on a fee‑for‑service structure with additional funding through Academic and Educational Trust Funds and/or Departmentally sanctioned administrative roles.
