The successful candidate will work alongside industry‑leading experts in an entrepreneurial, growth‑focused environment with strong deal flow across all sectors of the industry.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the analysis, placement and completion of public and private debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial advisory assignments.Provide underwriting of equity and debt capital, and strategic advisory services for leading corporations and institutions throughout North America and around the world.QualificationsCompleted an undergraduate program from a leading university, focusing on business, economics, geology or mining engineering.3–5 years of Investment Banking, Equity Research, or Corporate Development experience for a publicly listed company.Experience in the Metals and Mining sector is preferred.Enrollment in, or completion of, the CFA designation, an MBA, or other professional designations is an asset.Demonstrated desire to learn and eagerness to contribute meaningfully to the team environment at RBC Capital Markets.Track record of outstanding academic achievement and professional experience.Strong financial modeling/valuation and analytical skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey concepts concisely and defend their validity.Leadership qualities and ability to take initiative.Ability to perform as a key contributor in a fast‑paced and challenging work environment.Benefits Opportunity to join RBC Capital Markets, Canada’s leading Global Investment Bank.
