About The Role The Senior Systems Engineer contributes to operational excellence through technology and solid engineering practices. They ensure the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of the company’s IT platforms, supporting operational efficiency and long‑term development. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the team and management to ensure project delivery and effective incident resolution, including participation in on‑call support outside regular hours. Manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects, performing complex technical tasks and proposing solutions that follow best practices. Maintain and enhance the overall health and reliability of IT environments. Diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues using standards, documentation, and industry best practices. Support product and service owners by analyzing requirements and contributing to the writing and review of detailed technical specifications. Continuously improve processes and procedures to optimize team efficiency and service quality. Document system architectures, workflows, and operational procedures for technical teams and management. Maintain accurate system inventories and configuration records. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field. Over 10 years of relevant experience, with proven senior‑level contributions on complex projects. Expertise in email security platforms such as Cisco IronPort; knowledge of Proofpoint is a plus. Strong experience with Microsoft messaging platforms: Exchange Online / Microsoft 365, Exchange 2016/2019/SE. Excellent understanding of email security mechanisms: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, anti‑spam, anti‑malware. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and command‑line administration. Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies (GPO), DNS, load balancers, ADFS, Entra ID, and SAML. Ability to administer and optimize Windows Server 2016/2019 environments. Familiarity with virtual machines, vendor appliances, and standard server engineering tools. Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills. Experience with ServiceNow and change/incident management processes. Exposure to system integration projects in mergers & acquisitions contexts. Nice‑to‑Have Strong team spirit with willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues. Ownership mindset with strong problem‑solving skills, creativity, and continuous improvement orientation. Clear, structured, and effective written and verbal communication. Professional attitude: reliability, accountability, policy adherence, and readiness to take on additional responsibilities.
