How you will create impact Promote, underwrite and quote new business, renewals and endorsements in accordance with the company’s underwriting philosophy, rating and loss‑ratio objectives, service standards and authority levels. Develop and maintain positive, constructive relationships with brokers. Foster a team‑oriented approach to meeting corporate and department goals, including written premium and profitability objectives. Provide guidance, training and mentoring to less experienced staff. To join our team Minimum of 7 years of Commercial Underwriting experience. Expertise in Construction and Manufacturing underwriting. Strong analytical skills with an understanding of specific metrics to support effective portfolio management analysis. Proven project and change‑management skills with the ability to deliver on deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. Expected compensation Expected salary range: $83,774 – $133,700+, determined by Co‑operators in its discretion. Salary may vary based on local market conditions, geography, and relevant qualifications.
