With more than a century of experience and a full suite of integrated services, Aecon is a trusted partner for delivering complex civil projects, including tunnels, transit expansions, airports, ports, highways, and large‑scale site development.Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Civil / Structural Estimator (Senior) will be responsible for preparing and coordinating cost estimates during the design phase.What You’ll Do HerePrepare detailed cost estimates for civil and structural scopes.Analyze drawings, specifications, and design documents.Develop quantity take‑offs and cost breakdowns.Collaborate with engineering and design teams.Identify risks, opportunities, and cost drivers.Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.Participate in estimate reviews and validation processes.Maintain estimating databases and historical cost data.liCoordinate with procurement and project controls teams.Assist in developing project budgets and forecasts.What You Bring To The TeamBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum 8–10 years of estimating experience.Experience in infrastructure or heavy civil projects.Experience in hydroelectric projects is a major asset.Strong knowledge of estimating methodologies.Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical and communication skills.Equal Opportunity Statement Aecon fosters diversity, inclusion and belonging within and across our organization.
