The first leadership hires will define how the business operates globally.Role Overview We are hiring aSourcing Directorto build and lead the company’s global sourcing, merchandising, and operational execution function.This role hasfull ownership of the execution engine :Costing and margin protectionSampling and developmentProduction managementDelivery and qualityThis is not a coordination role. This is ahands-on leadership role responsible for getting orders executed successfully and profitably .This role is expected to evolve into aCOO or Head of Operations roleas the business scales.What You Will Own 1. Global Sourcing Strategy (Primary Accountability)Build and manage sourcing network across:Bangladesh, India, PakistanChina, Vietnam, Central AsiaSelect factories based on:Capability (product/category)Compliance and reliabilityContinuously optimize country allocation strategyOwn and manage PLM and Sourcing Management systems like Centric/WFX2. Costing & Margin OwnershipDevelop accurate, scalable costing frameworksNegotiate directly with mills and factoriesIdentify and eliminate margin leakageEnsure pricing supports commercial strategy while protecting profitability3. Merchandising & Product Lifecycle ExecutionOwn full lifecycle:Sampling and developmentFit approvalsPre-production (PP) and TOP approvalsBuild and enforceTNA (Time & Action) disciplineEnsure alignment between:Factory capabilitiesDelivery timelines4. Production & Delivery ManagementOwn execution from order placement to shipmentMonitor production progress across vendorsIdentify risks early and implement recovery plans5. Quality & Compliance OversightEstablish QA processes and checkpointsImplement vendor scorecards and performance trackingManage claims, quality issues, and corrective actionsEnsure compliance across factories and production processes6. Import & Execution ReadinessEnsure all orders are shipment-ready:DocumentationPackagingLabellingComplianceCoordinate with commercial and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery into Canada/USA/EU/Mexico7.
