Global Analytic Financial Engineering (GAFE) Fall 2026 Internship/ Co-op Requisition ID: Term: September 2026 - December 2026Application Deadline: 05/22/2026Location: Toronto, ON As part of the Global Capital Markets group, Global Analytics and Financial Engineering works closely with the trading and marketing groups to provide analytics, help develop new product capability, and support new business lines. Projects are often analytic, technological, or process‑related. Co‑op Analysts focus on one or two specific product areas while also contributing to other initiatives as priorities shift in our dynamic environment. Responsibilities Assist the development and testing of cutting‑edge derivatives pricing models. Build quantitative tools for trading and structuring desks. Build and maintain infrastructure processes for new business lines. Conduct ad hoc investigations for trading and marketing desks. Perform Mark‑to‑Market impact and sensitivity analysis for various models. Provide support to trading and sales desks. Qualifications Currently enrolled in post‑secondary education. Strong passion for learning and desire to work for an international organization. Active involvement in extracurricular activities such as conferences, clubs, competitions, or hackathons. Solid C++ programming skills; knowledge of Java, Python, Shell scripts, or Excel is a plus. Strong math skills and familiarity with numerical methods and derivatives products is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills, results‑oriented, and a team player. Able to work well in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities. Enrolled in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business/Finance, Actuarial Science, or another quantitative discipline.
