Responsibilities Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to counselling staff, supporting professional growth, ethical practice, and high-quality service delivery. Oversee counselling programs, including intake, caseload management, scheduling, and service coordination, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and funder requirements. Lead the development and expansion of counselling services, including new therapeutic groups, service models, and program initiatives to meet emerging community needs. Identify and support funding opportunities, including grant development, reporting, and exploring revenue-generating initiatives such as partnerships, contracts, and fee‑for‑service programming. Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and evidence‑informed services through risk management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement practices. Monitor staff performance through coaching, feedback, and evaluation, addressing performance concerns and supporting ongoing development. Collect and analyze program data to inform decision‑making, measure outcomes, and strengthen program effectiveness. Facilitate and oversee practicum student placements, ensuring meaningful and compliant learning experiences. Build and maintain relationships with community partners, funders, and stakeholders, representing the organization and enhancing service visibility. Contribute to organizational strategy and planning as part of the management team. Maintain a small counselling caseload as required to support program continuity. Qualifications A degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW), Clinical or Counseling Psychology (MA, MEd), or a doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. A registered member in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body. A minimum of 1–2 years of counselling experience, with demonstrated expertise in working with diverse client populations.
