The SAP BODS Developer supports Enbridge Gas’s data integration and analytics landscape by designing, developing, and maintaining ETL solutions that move data from SAP and non‑SAP systems into enterprise data warehouses and reporting platforms. The role focuses on data accuracy, performance, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability within a utility environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain SAP BODS ETL jobs to extract, transform, and load data from: SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA (IS-U, FI, CO, PM) Metering, billing, customer information systems (CIS) Legacy and third‑party applications Build and manage: Dataflows, workflows, scripts, and transforms Error‑handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms Optimize BODS jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability in batch and near‑real‑time processing Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to meet regulatory and audit requirements: Gas distribution operations Regulatory reporting (Ontario Energy Board / compliance reporting) Finance, asset management, and customer analytics Collaborate with: Business analysts and data architects SAP functional teams Reporting and BI teams (BW, Power BI, SAP BO) Production support, incident resolution, and performance tuning Maintain technical documentation, job schedules, mappings, and run books Technical Skills & Experience Strong hands‑on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) Solid understanding of: ETL architecture and data warehousing concepts Proficiency in: SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, HANA) Data profiling, cleansing, and transformations Experience with: Control‑M, Autosys, or equivalent job schedulers Version control and migration practices Familiarity with utility‑industry data such as: Billing and revenue Asset and pipeline information (preferred) Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to work in a regulated utility environment Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination Detail‑oriented with a focus on data accuracy and consistency Able to support production environments with SLA accountability #J-18808-Ljbffr
