The role supports Fidelity Wealth and Private Wealth clients and involves collaboration with advisory teams and internal specialists. What You Will Do / Responsabilités Principales Meet with wealth advisors to discuss tax planning and related strategies for clients and prospects Meet with relationship managers and high-net-worth clients and prospects to discuss tax planning strategies Present tax plans and coordinate timely implementation with client professionals Provide direction and coordinate wealth strategy implementations with clients’ professional advisors Respond to inquiries and prepare notes on specific wealth planning matters Contribute to development and implementation of wealth planning service standards and design complex strategies for high-net-worth clients Demonstrate and promote a collaborative wealth planning process Provide comprehensive wealth planning services and support to advisors, relationship managers and clients Participate in in-person meetings, presentations to groups of clients and centers of influence, and content creation from qualitative analyses Produce Value-added Content / Contenu à valeur ajoutée Prepare detailed articles and reference materials on wealth planning topics and business development content Lead seminars and presentations on wealth planning services for clients, prospects and centers of influence Provide analyses on tax changes and their impact on clients and the business Communicate tax and wealth topics through publications, presentations and media interviews Coordinate with internal Fidelity departments to ensure consistency in communications Training and Service Standards / Formation et normes de service Train advisors and internal staff on tax planning matters Research topics relevant to Fidelity Wealth and Private Wealth activities Define operational structure for wealth planning services with key stakeholders Develop a risk-aware culture in collaboration with compliance and regulatory teams What We’re Looking For / Qualifications Requises University degree or equivalent work experience Professional designation in accounting or law Completion of relevant tax programs or Master of Taxation or equivalent Certified Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) 7+ years of relevant tax and estate planning experience Proven ability to design and implement complex tax and estate planning strategies Experience with cross-border clients and wealth-management issues Financial planning knowledge; experience with family enterprises is an asset Bilingual in English and French (mandatory) Progress toward or possession of a financial planning designation (PFP, CFP) or related designation is a bonus What You Will Bring / Compétences et compétences requises Deep understanding of tax and estate planning issues Ability to communicate complex wealth-planning strategies clearly to clients and advisors Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to collaborate with internal partners Excellent verbal and written communication for diverse audiences Autonomous and team-oriented work style Exceptional relationship management and client-centric focus Culture and Benefits / Avantages Flexible working arrangements (remote, hybrid, or in-office) Competitive total compensation including group RRSP contributions Comprehensive health benefits from day one with employer-paid premiums Parental leave top-up to 100% for 25 weeks Home office equipment allowance Generous volunteer time off Diversity and inclusion programs and Employee Resource Groups Extensive professional development opportunities (11,000+ courses, tuition reimbursement) Notes: This description reflects Fidelity’s inclusive culture and commitment to compensation, development and wellbeing.
