This position requires considerable judgment to make responsible decisions based on the interpretation of Acts, Regulations, policies and standard industry practices.Qualifications EssentialExperience performing administrative and/or clerical duties in an office environment such as data entry, processing applications, maintaining records, responding to inquiries, answering phones, preparing documents and filing.Experience interpreting, explaining and applying Acts, regulations, policies and/or procedures for the purpose of analyzing applications, agreements and legal requirements.Excellent interpersonal skills to work as part of a team, maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and manage challenging situations.Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with the public and staff in person, by phone, and in writing.Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare, edit and format documents with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage interruptions, establish priorities, meet deadlines within tight timelines and manage high workload.Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.Experience working with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and databases.DesiredKnowledge of mineral or quarry tenure administration practices, procedures and processes.Experience providing front line service to the public that includes the responsibility for accepting and processing payments.Conditions of EmploymentMust be legally entitled to work in Canada.Must be able to provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.Must be able to work overtime outside regular office hours, as required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
