Minimum Qualifications Possess a Master’s degree in nutrition or nutrition-related field with significant clinical nutrition experience. Teaching experience at the college/university level. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, specifically MS Office Suite Programs (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Outlook. Preferred Qualifications Credentialed as a registered dietitian nutritionist by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Academic experience in Clinical Nutrition Education, to include curriculum development. Knowledge of competency-based education. Strong CN teaching experience. Minimum of two (2) years of professional higher education teaching experience. Desire to teach and learn from students in all phases of the curriculum, using a humanistic educational model. Superior written, oral and interpersonal communications skills needed to work with diverse student, faculty, preceptor and administrative populations. Have a desire to create and sustain a culture of student support and success. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
