Key Responsibilities As a FAAS Manager, you will: Guide staff and senior consultants, building culture and developing long‑term client relationships through project delivery and business development. Lead or support external client consulting engagements focused on advancing the CFO agenda, improving internal finance and accounting processes, advising on solutions to increase processing efficiency, drive automation, re‑engineer processes, support data analytics, and technology solutions. Identify and assess business needs, develop tailored solutions, perform finance function assessments, operational diagnostics, and optimization of financial processes. Capitalize on business development initiatives including service offering development, proposal development, responding to RFX, and participating in oral presentations. Specialize in a particular area, service offering, or industry and support subject‑matter advisors and go‑to‑market activities. Manage the financial and commercial aspects of engagements, organise staffing, track fees, and communicate issues to project leaders. Build strong internal relationships within FAAS and across EY’s service lines (Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions). Manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines. Practice Development Responsibilities Promote an innovative and team‑oriented work environment. Coach, supervise, and mentor people, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback. Recruit, retain, and train Finance & Performance Management professionals. Maintain an educational/training program to continually develop personal skills. Follow workplace policies and procedures, including project and proposal quality and risk management. Skills and Attributes Excellent spoken, written, and presentation English language skills. Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, commerce, business administration, or data analysis/management. Minimum 3 – 5 years of professional experience. Strong knowledge in at least one of: financial accounting or audit; finance transformation and process optimisation; planning, budgeting, forecasting, and/or financial/business analysis; performance measurement and management; business performance reporting; cost allocation and management. Experience delivering projects covering assessment, design, and implementation across multiple stages of the life cycle. Proficiency with MS Office, process documentation tools (Visio, LucidChart), financial/data modelling, and data analytics tools (Python). Dedication to teamwork and leadership, with experience managing and mentoring junior staff. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, ability to think critically, identify creative solutions outside the box, and thrive on new challenges. High motivation and a self‑starting attitude. Willingness to travel and/or meet client needs on short notice. Additional Preferred Qualifications Professional accounting designation such as CPA or equivalent. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic, team‑oriented environment. French language skills are an asset. Track record with a blue‑chip consulting firm in the field.
