Job Description Senior Project Manager - Nuclear Facility (Industrial Construction) Location: Chalk River, Ontario Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote Only applicants who meet all minimum qualifications will be considered. Chandos is seeking aSenior Project Manager that must have proven experience leading $500M+ large‑scale industrial construction projects. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a$1.5B nuclear facility—a highly process‑driven environment with ISO certification underway and over 250 professionals collaborating under Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project execution, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, procurement, risk, and stakeholder management. You will work closely with a Project Director, be mentored by senior leadership, and play a pivotal role in building Canada’s advanced nuclear materials research capacity. Manage procurement, subtrade buy‑out, contracts, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing. Oversee project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and reporting to ensure milestones and net margin targets are met. Direct and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and grit. Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Reinforce Chandos’ safety culture through inspections, compliance, and proactive risk management. Support business development by leveraging client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
