Position Overview Academic Psychiatrist with Specialty in OCD at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Eligible for a full‑time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor at the University of Toronto. The position includes participation in the clinical and academic activities of the department, including the psychiatry call system, teaching program, and leadership in quality improvement. Responsibilities Provide clinical care for patients with obsessive‑compulsive disorder, including advanced psychopharmacotherapy and CBT for treatment‑resistant OCD. Deliver neuromodulatory interventions such as rTMS, DTMS and ECT. Serve as a liaison between the Thompson Anxiety Disorders Centre and the Harquail Centre. Work alongside the multidisciplinary team in outpatient care and the OCD intensive treatment residential service, managing 2–4 severe OCD patients at a time. Support or lead research initiatives and contribute to the department’s research agenda. Teach and mentor learners in clinical and academic settings. Qualifications MD degree. Royal College/Board Certified or Royal College/Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Eligible for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Experience treating OCD with expertise in advanced pharmacotherapy and CBT. Background in OCD and interest in the field. Compensation Fee‑for‑service structure with additional funding through Academic and Educational Trust Funds and/or Departmentally‑sanctioned administrative roles. Salary range: $400,000–$450,000 per annum.
