You will be part of a team with deep expertise and proven experience in helping federally and provincially regulated organizations and financial institutions navigate the complex and ever-changing financial services regulatory landscape. Do you have what we’re looking for? 4 to 6+ years of regulatory experience gained from a leading law firm or in-house, or an interest in specializing in the regulation of the financial services sector; A self-starter who embraces challenge and thrives in a fast-paced setting; A drive to work on a variety of regulatory and corporate/commercial matters including: advising on M&A transactions involving regulated entities; advising on compliance with Canadian financial institution legislation and the laws relating to consumer protection, payments, digital currency, and anti-money laundering; and assisting with regulatory investigations; Excellent academic credentials; and Superior communication, drafting skills and a strong attention to detail. We will also consider senior candidates interested in a Counsel position.
