CW will be supporting with the implementation of BlackLine. Who Will the Candidate Be Working with on a Daily Basis? Immediate team supporting with the implementation. Would be working closely with the Director and Sr. Director. Will also be working closely with many individuals across Controllership group. How many years of experience? At least 3 years of experience with BlackLine. At least 5 years of overall experience in Finance and Accounting Will the worker be expected to manage data integration? Not independently. They may need to understand what activities would need to happen for data integration to occur by Technology teams/BlackLine. Will they be responsible for troubleshooting bugs or configuring software? Troubleshooting bugs – no; configuring software - yes. Onboarding reconciliations to BlackLine is what I would consider configuration. Role Overview The Senior Manager, BlackLine Capability Hub will assist in leading the process of the configuration, management, and optimization of the BlackLine platform. This role partners with Finance leadership, Technology, and Business stakeholders to build and maintain strong global reconciliation processes to support financial accounting and control processes across its group of companies. Key Responsibilities Execute on the Global Balance Sheet control strategy to ensure the completeness, and accuracy of Balance sheet. Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the BlackLine platform. Evaluate and execute onboarding of reconciliation processes onto the BlackLine platform. Develop and deliver training programs for BlackLine system users and local administrators. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation through BlackLine workflows. Communicate effectively with Leaders and other stakeholders regarding system enhancements, risks, and opportunities. Drive adoption of new features and best practices to maximize BlackLine platform value. Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, Technology, and Business units for BlackLine-related initiatives. Oversee the development and delivery of BlackLine tools and analytical analysis for management and operational decision-making. Lead change management initiatives for BlackLine system upgrades, new module rollouts, and process changes. Who you are Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years’ experience in financial systems administration, accounting, or finance operations. 3+ years’ experience with BlackLine or similar financial close/reconciliation platforms. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong understanding of financial close processes, internal controls, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills. Must Have Requirement 3 years of experience with BlackLine. 5+ years’ experience in financial systems administration, accounting, or finance operations. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have CPA designation would be an asset. Experience with SAP. Soft Skills Strong communication skills – ability to communicate, influence, direct individuals across different teams within Finance.
