We specialize in the design, procurement, and construction management of mineral processing plants.This internship offers hands‑on experience within an EPC/EPCM environment, where you will support the electrical engineering team in design, calculations, and project‑related activities. You will gain exposure to real mining and industrial projects while developing practical technical skills.At Primero, we value efficiency, accountability, and integrity—and we take pride in delivering high‑quality work in a collaborative and down‑to‑earth environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with electrical calculations, equipment sizing, and technical documentationSupport the development of single‑line diagrams, layouts, and wiring diagramsWork with designers/drafters to ensure accurate and compliant deliverablesAssist in equipment selection and vendor documentation reviewSupport engineers in power distribution design and related calculationsParticipate in meetings, design reviews, and technical reportingLearn and apply relevant codes, standards, and safety practicesWhat we’re looking forCurrently in 3 rd year (or beyond) of a Bachelor’s in Electrical EngineeringInterest in electrical design within mining or industrial environmentsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and single‑line diagramsBasic understanding of power distribution and electrical systemsComfortable with Microsoft Office; exposure to AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools is an assetStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Detail‑oriented, curious, and eager to learnPositive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative team environmentAble to work in‑person at our Toronto office, Monday to FridayInternship conditionsPaid full‑time internship (approx. 15 weeks)Must be part of a university‑recognized internship programMust be legally entitled to work in CanadaCasual dress codeFriendly and supportive team environmentPossibility of internship extension and/or conversion to a full‑time role based on performance and business needs#J-18808-Ljbffr
