Term of Appointment June 1, 2026 - June 30, 2028 (50% release time)Reporting To Dean of Health Sciences and Human ServicesSalary An annual stipend of $3,127.00, in accordance with BCGEU Faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement.Description NLC's Health Sciences programs require a half-time Chair for approximately a two-year term. This position carries half-time teaching release. Under the direction of the Dean, Health Sciences & Human Services the successful candidate will be responsible for educational leadership within the Allied Health and Human Service programs. The Chair will have responsibility for maintaining excellence in the department and for taking appropriate, timely action to foster the highest possible standards of teaching, scholarship, service, and student advising. The Chair also provides focus and direction to ensure the quality of programs, with responsibilities for leading the department in matters of curriculum, planning, assessment, regulatory oversight, and student affairs.
