We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our Procurement Department. In this role, you will assist in sourcing and purchasing goods and services that meet our organization’s needs while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. You will collaborate with various departments and vendors to support our strategic procurement initiatives and contribute to our overall operational efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and vendors. Participate in the development and analysis of approved RFPs. This includes development of specific questions, RFP strategy development, evaluation models, pricing comparisons, and consensus evaluations. Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements. Process purchase orders and manage order confirmations. Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory audits. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information. Collaborate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs. Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and pricing. Support the procurement team in supplier performance evaluations. Assist in resolving any issues related to purchase orders and deliveries. Prepare reports on procurement activities and expenditures. Help develop and implement procurement strategies. Participate in supplier meetings and negotiations as needed. Assist with compliance and regulatory requirements related to procurement. Ensure timely communication with suppliers regarding order status and delivery. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing (preferred). Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Basic understanding of supply chain management principles. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks. A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
