Who you are We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer who will help drive the success and stability of the Geotab ecosystem. This role requires a deep understanding of Geotab solutions and the ability to adapt and showcase them for partners and end‑users. Senior Solutions Engineers identify and understand complex customer needs, develop and customize solutions using the open platform, and support partners in overcoming business challenges. What you’ll do This position works closely with stakeholders within Geotab’s sales channels, customer care, product management, and other solutions engineering teams. You will play a fundamental role in driving Geotab’s strategy, developing tools and educational content for internal teams and external partners, and advancing ongoing business objectives. You’ll identify gaps in the product ecosystem, provide alternative solutions, and give valuable feedback to product and development teams. How you’ll make an impact Develop and maintain expert‑level knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem and serve as a subject‑matter expert. Engage strategic partners and key end‑users to optimize their utilization of Geotab’s technology and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs. Collaborate with revenue‑generating teams as a key technical resource to deliver effective solutions, contributing to sales growth, ecosystem expansion, and customer retention. Translate technical capabilities into tangible business value, conduct discovery analysis, and deliver compelling demonstrations and pilots. Ensure partner and end‑user satisfaction through prompt and accurate service, and support internal teams with insights. Upskill partners, drive excellence, and support customers across unique channels. Analyze business challenges, propose alternative approaches, and provide feedback to improve products. Maintain accurate documentation of engagements and solution designs. Manage high‑impact projects and collaborate with partners, integrators, and customers for successful implementation. Create and improve processes, handle escalations, and drive change. Mentor Solutions Engineers and other team members. What you’ll bring to this role 5–8 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience in software engineering, data analysis, or systems integration with a customer‑facing focus. Expert‑level knowledge of telematics, IoT, APIs, and related technologies. Programming experience with Python, SQL, Java, or C# and strong API integration skills. Experience with Agile tools, ticketing, and CRM systems such as JIRA and Salesforce. Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools like Superset or Power BI. Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities. Effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non‑technical audiences. Customer‑focused mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional service. Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies. Sales or business development experience, particularly with indirect sales channels. Strong organizational and time‑management skills for managing multiple projects. Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
