We’re looking for a Project Engineer to lead capital projects that directly impact how our products are made, scaled, and delivered. Project Engineer - Responsibilities In this role you will: Lead end-to-end delivery of capital projects—from planning and design through to execution and commissioning, including managing scope, timelines, and budgets while ensuring alignment with operational priorities. Drive process and equipment improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality. Partner with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure successful execution, overseeing procurement, contractor performance, and on-site construction activities. Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting to support plant operations and ensure all projects meet EH&S, Quality, and Food Safety standards. Report on project progress and proactively identify risks and solutions. Qualifications A degree in Engineering or Applied Science (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or similar). 2–5 years of experience in project engineering, industrial construction, or manufacturing environments. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders at once. Strong communication skills—you can translate technical details into clear, actionable insights. Experience with capital projects (ideally up to ~$2M), including contractor coordination and procurement. A mindset focused on continuous improvement, safety, and quality. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, HACCP, GMP, or ISO standards is an asset. P.Eng (or working toward it) is considered an asset.
