Compliance Analyst, Enterprise AML & Payments - Virtual Currency 5700 Yonge St, North York, ON M2M 4K2, Canada Job Description The Compliance Analyst assists Questrade in complying with anti‑money laundering (AML) and anti‑terrorist financing (ATF) legislation and internal policies. Responsibilities include day‑to‑day AML monitoring, case support, and process improvement, working under the supervision of the AML Compliance Supervisor. Responsibilities Perform day‑to‑day activities for Questrade’s AML and ATF program as assigned. Monitor large virtual currency transactions daily. Gather information for case work and perform initial reviews of unusual activity. Provide recommendations based on research to the Director, AML Compliance. File suspicious transaction reports. Provide ongoing support to the compliance department and perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Canadian financial industry. 6–12 months experience with an MSB, virtual currency dealer, or equivalent financial institution. Proficiency in technology programs (SQL, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets / G‑Suite tools, PowerBI). Post‑secondary degree or diploma in a related field. Knowledge of the investment industry, cryptocurrency, and banking is an asset. Certified Anti‑Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). Solid knowledge of FINTRAC Guidelines for securities dealers. Final compensation will be commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.
