Job Title: Project Manager – Cyber Security Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid: 2 days min onsite) Interview Process: Virtual 2 rounds Length: 12 Months with possible extension Role Summary We are seeking a Project Manager to support delivery of smaller cybersecurity and technology workstreams within a regulated financial environment. The role will assist senior project managers in coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring smooth execution of deliverables across multiple stakeholders. This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to grow into full project ownership within cybersecurity and enterprise technology delivery. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Delivery Support Support planning and execution of small-to-medium cybersecurity and IT workstreams Track milestones, action items, and deliverables across multiple teams Maintain project schedules and ensure updates are reflected accurately Assist in coordinating cross-functional meetings and follow-ups Documentation & Reporting Prepare and maintain project documentation (status reports, RAID logs, meeting notes) Ensure project artifacts are organized, updated, and audit-ready Support creation of presentation materials for stakeholders and leadership updates Stakeholder Support Liaise with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to follow up on tasks Help ensure clear communication of updates, dependencies, and blockers Escalate issues appropriately to senior PMs when needed Risk, Issue & Action Tracking Track risks, issues, and action items (RAID management) Follow up on mitigation actions and ensure closure of items Highlight delays or risks early for escalation Financial & Delivery Support (Basic Level) Assist in tracking project budgets, forecasts, and timesheets where applicable Support reporting of project progress vs. plan Required Skills & Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or junior project management Exposure to IT, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology environments preferred Understanding of basic project delivery concepts (SDLC, Agile, Waterfall) Strong documentation and organizational skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint Nice to Have Exposure to financial services or regulated industries Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts or enterprise infrastructure projects Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or ServiceNow PMP or CAPM (in progress or completed) Soft Skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Proactive and willing to take ownership of follow-ups Comfortable working with ambiguity and shifting priorities Strong team player with a willingness to learn Professional communication with stakeholders at all levels
