The Role We are looking for a "Hunter." As a Business Development Manager, you will be the face of Peerage Mortgage Capital to the broker community. Your job is to drive deal flow, build deep relationships with mortgage brokers, and educate partners on our lending guidelines. Key Responsibilities Drive Volume: Actively prospect and onboard new mortgage broker partners in the GTA and across Ontario. Relationship Management: Maintain and expand relationships with existing key accounts, ensuring Peerage is their "first call" for private deals. Educate & Present: Conduct office presentations, lunch-and-learns, and webinars to showcase our product suite and "common sense" underwriting approach. Market Intel: Stay ahead of competitor trends and provide feedback to leadership on pricing, products, and market needs. Pipeline Management: Work closely with our underwriting team to ensure your brokers' deals move smoothly from submission to funding. Qualifications Experience: Proven track record in B2B sales or business development within the Canadian mortgage industry. Network: You have an established database of mortgage brokers who know and trust you. Knowledge: Solid understanding of private lending, mortgage math, and the current real estate landscape.
