The Project Management and Planning Specialists will consult and engage with senior leadership to provide planning and project management services across SHA. These services include scope development, feasibility, estimating/budgeting, risk analysis, scheduling, drawing production code reviews, infection control requirements, staging, commissioning, project reporting, approval processes, and financial management/financial tracking. The Project Management and Planning Specialists manage projects ranging from $200,000 to over $100 million, ensuring the provision of quality client-centred service in accordance with the vision, mission, values, and goals of the SHA. They integrate departmental service delivery objectives, space, spatial relationships, equipment, and furnishings into the functional programming and design process. They translate user group requirements into working drawings, explain preliminary drawings and specifications to user groups, and act as the critical communication link between management, physicians, user groups, and staff for provincial project teams.
