High School Woodworking Teacher needed! Khalsa Secondary School, an independent Sikh school in British Columbia, is looking for one teaching staff member to design and lead woodworking lessons and manage a new classroom. The position begins on September 1, 2026 and concludes on June 30, 2027. Teaching Responsibilities Woodwork 10 (2 blocks) Woodwork 8 (2 blocks) Woodwork 9 (2 blocks) Woodwork 11 (2 blocks) Woodwork 12 (1 block) Qualifications Bachelor of Education required. Must be eligible to be employed in Canada. BC teaching certification (BC Certified or CoQ) required; candidates with certification from another province will be considered only if they apply for BC certification. Master's Degree in Education required. Must be able to operate woodworking machinery safely. Salary & Benefits Starting Salary: $6,600 per month for BC Certified (CoQ) teachers.
