Position Overview We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the day‑to‑day administrative and operational functions of the business. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO ensures the company executes its strategy efficiently, drives operational scalability, and maintains a high‑performance culture across all departments.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership & ManagementOversee daily operations across critical departments such as Operations, HR, IT and other core business functions.Design, implement and continuously monitor standardized procedures and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.Identify, evaluate and mitigate key operational risks to ensure compliance, business continuity and organizational stability.Strategic Planning & ExecutionTranslate the CEO’s long‑term vision and strategic goals into clear, actionable operational plans and departmental targets.Establish, track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, reporting insights to the CEO and recommending corrective actions.Lead initiatives that build the necessary infrastructure, technology and organizational structure to support sustainable company growth.Financial & Resource StewardshipCollaborate with the CFO to manage the operating budget, control expenses and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and profit margins.Allocate and manage internal resources (personnel, technology and capital) effectively to ensure all strategic projects and operations are fully supported.Talent & Culture DevelopmentMentor and guide department heads and senior leadership, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous professional development.Act as a champion for the company’s core values, ensuring the internal culture supports high performance and drives employee engagement and retention.Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 4+ years of progressive leadership experience.Proven track record in scaling operations, driving organizational efficiency and managing complex cross‑departmental functions.Demonstrated ability to mentor senior management, lead large teams and foster a culture of accountability and high performance.Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma and strategic planning frameworks.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or related field.Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Executive Leadership, Strategic Management) are highly beneficial.What We Offer Strategic Impact: opportunity to directly influence and execute the company’s core business strategy alongside the CEO and Board.Executive Leadership: chance to lead and mentor a high‑caliber team across all major operational units and collaborate in a culture focused on innovation and learning.Flexibility and remote work options available.Location & Company Charlottetown, Canada –Company:RM Staffing B.V.#J-18808-Ljbffr
