As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead complex, cross‑functional product solution programs from concept through delivery and adoption. You will be responsible for aligning technical execution with business goals, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring timely, high‑quality releases. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep experience in Agile methodologies, strong leadership, influence & communication skills, and a proven ability to drive results in a matrixed environment. Location Waterloo, ON What You’ll Do Program Execution: Lead end‑to‑end program execution across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs), Scrum teams, and across global and regional cross‑functional teams. Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive integrated program plans, schedules, and risk mitigation plans. Quality Assurance: Ensure program scope, objectives, and success metrics are established to continually increase design‑to‑release quality through collaboration with product and technical stakeholders. Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure cross‑functional alignment to the integrated program plan and resolve conflicts across teams and functions. Process Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal Design Control, Release Management, and Regulatory processes. Continuous Improvement & Best Practices: Drive continuous improvement in program delivery through retrospectives and process optimization. Mentor other program/project managers and/or contribute to the evolution of PMO best practices and frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum). Communication: Act as the program liaison providing regular updates to leadership and organizational stakeholders on program status, risks, metrics and outcomes relative to the roadmap. Who You Are Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in program management, preferably in a healthcare software product or high‑tech environment that releases a product that is broadly distributed. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (SAFe certification preferred). Proven track record of delivering complex programs on time and within scope. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and portfolio management platforms. PMP or equivalent project management certification. Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., medical devices, healthcare IT). Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Compensation Salary Range: $140,000 – $190,000 (actual may vary by education, experience, skills, location, and internal equity).
