Job Title Manufacturing Engineering Assistant – Productions (Co‑op) Work Arrangement Onsite Work Term Fall 2026; 4 months (Sept 2026 – Dec 2026), 8 months (Sept 2026 – Apr 2027), or 12 months (Sept 2026 – Sept 2027) Compensation Hourly pay range: $22.70 – $36.40. Individual pay within this range is determined by factors including the year of study, type of academic program, and number of prior co‑op work terms completed. Key Responsibilities Work on plant layout updates and preparation of work instructions. Assist in CAPEX projects with Project/Manufacturing Engineers. Conduct process studies and continuous improvement initiatives. Work alongside designers and engineers to create and improve fixtures. What You’ll Need To Succeed Currently enrolled in a registered post‑secondary co‑op program in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering. Available for a 4, 8, or 12 month co‑op placement starting in Fall 2026. Good understanding of VBA and Python. Some CAD experience in Solid Edge, Solid Works, or AutoCAD. Experience working with machines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Physical Effort Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day‑to‑day activity in the workplace. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting or moving objects or equipment up to 20 lbs. Work Environment Acceptable working environment with minor or almost no disagreeable or challenging working conditions as part of everyday expected levels (all jobs will occasionally experience undesirable or disagreeable events).
