As a Field Manager, you will report directly to the Account Manager and will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and reporting of retail sampling programs across Canada. This position is responsible for ensuring samplings run smoothly and according to plan. You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, vendors, and brand ambassadors to ensure flawless delivery of campaigns that drive trial, awareness, and brand love. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and communication skills with the ability to effectively work both independently and with their peers to deliver successful results. Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day management of multiple retail sampling programs under the guidance of the Account Manager. Coordinate sampling schedules, retail partner logistics, and product purchases to ensure timely execution. Liaise with field teams to communicate activation details, briefing materials, and brand standards. Monitor field execution through live updates, photos, and feedback to ensure quality and compliance. Lead the development of client-facing documents such as status reports, recaps, timelines, and budget trackers. Participate in client and internal status meetings; capture action items and follow up as required. Contribute to creative brainstorming and problem‑solving to enhance consumer engagement and program results. Track and reconcile program expenses and invoices with accuracy. Manage the creation and maintenance of detailed program databases (sampling locations, product SKUs, performance metrics, etc.). Compile post‑program reports including photos, metrics, and key learnings. Support the AM in analyzing sampling data and consumer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for optimization. Support larger team on XM activations as needed. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in event marketing and understand the local market. Qualifications A minimum of 3 years of experience in retail sampling is required. Previous experience as an Account Coordinator, Team Lead or Brand Ambassador is an asset. Previous experience in alcohol is an asset. Must have a valid driver’s license; access to your own vehicle is an asset. Ability to work flexible hours including overnight travel, evenings and weekends. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Outgoing, friendly, sense of team spirit, confident and dedicated to event management. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, event management, or related field is preferred.
