Are you passionate about using data to drive impactful product decisions? Then Jobber might be the place for you! We’re looking for a Product Analytics Manager to be part of our Strategy & Analytics team. The Team: Product Analytics is part of the Analytics & Strategy department, an internal consulting team that connects data, business insights, and an internal tech stack with the rest of the organization. It works closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and GTM stakeholders to ensure every major decision has a strong analytical foundation. The Role: Reporting to the Director of Product Analytics, the Product Analytics Manager will champion analytical initiatives that advance Jobber’s subscription product capabilities (desktop & Mobile App), user experience, and product marketing strategy. The role is high‑impact, hands‑on, and involves owning a product domain from question framing to recommendation that informs product or GTM decisions. The Product Analytics Manager will: Design, run, and analyze experiments in a SaaS environment with constraints such as low traffic and small samples. Apply causal inference methods (difference‑in‑differences, regression discontinuity, synthetic controls, CUPED/variance reduction) when A/B testing isn’t feasible. Build customer segmentation and lifecycle models that feed directly into product and GTM decisions. Partner with Product, Design, and GTM stakeholders to translate ambiguous business questions into analytical plans; push back when the question itself needs reframing. Develop scenario and sensitivity models to allow business leaders to stress‑test assumptions before committing to a strategy. Contribute to Jobber’s experimentation culture by consulting on design, statistical best practices, and measurement frameworks across teams. Coordinate with Analytics Engineering to define data requirements and ensure instrumentation is in place to answer critical questions. Provide guidance on experimental design and measurement to reinforce a culture of data‑driven decision making. To be successful, you should have: Deep hands‑on experience in product analytics for a SaaS or marketplace product, engaging throughout the product development cycle. End‑to‑end experimentation experience: designing tests, choosing metrics, monitoring novel‑effect and early‑stopping decisions, and communicating results to non‑technical audiences. Fluency with causal inference and a toolkit for situations where A/B tests aren’t possible. Strong analytical SQL skills (complex joins, window functions, cohort analysis, funnel construction); write queries to think, not just pull data. Ability to simplify complex results for stakeholders, providing exactly the decision‑relevant insights. Comfort with uncertainty: communicate confidence intervals, flag weak signals, and avoid false precision. You should also: Python for analysis and modeling (pandas, statsmodels, scikit‑learn). Experience with Bayesian methods or probabilistic modeling for cases where frequentist approaches don’t fit. Experience with Monte‑Carlo simulation or scenario modeling for business planning. Informal leadership experience: mentoring peers, running knowledge‑sharing sessions, helping junior analysts level up. Be curious, relentless, and comfortable seeking information independently. Strong communication skills: listen, empathize, and translate complex concepts into digestible insights. Adapt to an ambiguous, fast‑paced environment. Location: The role is open to candidates based in one of our hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener‑Waterloo. Compensation: Minimum annual salary: $121,000 – midpoint: $142,200 – maximum: $163,600. Compensation reflects skill, experience, and role complexity, supporting growth and long‑term impact. Base salary is part of a total package that includes equity rewards, health and wellness stipends, retirement matching, and an extended health package with fully paid premiums. We value transparency. Discuss your compensation expectations with us during the hiring process. What you can expect from Jobber: Extended health benefits with fully paid premiums for body and mind. RRSP/TFSA/FHSA matching. Stock options. Dedicated Talent Development team and coaching, learning, and leadership programs. A unique opportunity to impact a $400‑billion industry that has no dominant player yet. We strive to create an inclusive workplace that values diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We are an equal‑opportunity employer and are committed to working with applicants requesting accommodation at any stage of the hiring process.
