Applying professional engineering or geoscience expertise, this role conducts competency assessments and practice reviews, contributes to the development and maintenance of professional practice standards, and supports regulatory compliance. All assessments are completed in accordance with the principles of procedural fairness. Key Responsibilities Evaluate academic credentials, professional experience, competencies, and reference information of applicants seeking entry to professional practice Determine eligibility for registration in accordance with APEGS policies and programs Conduct entry to practice competency assessments and professional practice reviews Participate in assessment and evaluation interviews, including for non traditional practice areas Review registrants practice to ensure compliance with published standards Identify and escalaten compliance concerns, including potential fraud, to the Compliance, Investigation and Enforcement (CIE) team Provide subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders, including CIE Contribute to the continuous improvement of professional practice standards, policies, and procedures Qualifications Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) designation Licensed with APEGS or eligible for licensure in Saskatchewan Minimum 10 years of professional experience Residence in Saskatchewan Strong analytical, communication, and decision making skills Ability to interpret and apply legislation and policy requirements Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel #J-18808-Ljbffr
