Overview We are seeking a Cyber Security expert to join our growing team and work on critical infrastructure. Your role Lead initiatives to secure Operational Technology (OT) environments, including Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA systems in critical infrastructure. Identify and mitigate cyber risks, ensure compliance with industry standards, and facilitate collaboration across technology stakeholders. Deliver project inputs to meet overall project timelines and requirements. Plan cyber security activities and apply a risk-based approach in all phases of the project. Promote and enforce OT cybersecurity policies and procedures based on NIST, CSA, IEC 62443, and ISO 27001 standards. Conduct risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of mitigation strategies. Perform gap assessments and threat & vulnerability assessments, identify critical assets, and engage associated stakeholders. Define cyber security requirements to suppliers and engage in procurement activities. Provide actionable recommendations to mitigate cybersecurity threats and improve security posture. Manage client relationships and advise on recommended actions. Lead and mentor junior staff on projects and teams. About You Security certifications or demonstrated experience: CISSP, GICSP, OSCP, CEH, CISM, IEC 62443 Fundamentals, CompTIA Security+, CCNP, etc. Experience in critical infrastructure and IC/OT. Understanding of IT/OT systems including servers, networks, workstations, and infrastructure. Understanding of cyber security roles and responsibilities. Deep knowledge of cyber security frameworks and standards, including APTA, NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, and ISO 27001. Familiarity with OT-specific cybersecurity platforms and tools (e.g., Claroty, Nozomi, Dragos). Additional Considerations (preferred but not mandatory) Demonstrated experience in the nuclear industry. Understanding of other technology systems: Automation / SCADA / Control Systems Telecommunications / Network Technology Information Technology / Data Centre Computer Sciences / Software Engineering Additional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CISA, ISO 27001 LI). Demonstrated experience with compliance and regulation (NERC‑CIP, CSA, NIS, etc.). P. Eng is an asset but not required. Bilingual French/English is an asset but not required. Desire to learn and grow in a fast‑paced cyber security field. Expected compensation Pay Range $100,200 – $137,700 annually (only applicable to British Columbia and Ontario). Base salaries are determined by skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account.
