IT Asset Manager We are hiring an IT Asset Manager for our IT Network Engineering team.Job Summary The IT Asset Manager (iTAM) will lead and optimize all technology related hardware and software asset management program activities. The role enhances the Life Cycle Asset Management policy, processes, framework, tools, compliance, governance and metrics, and collaborates with IT stakeholders to maintain and communicate asset management processes and procedures.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a detailed inventory of all hardware and software assetsEnsure proper provisioning and de-provisioning processes are followedEstablish, maintain and enhance existing policies, standards, processes and proceduresImplement short-term and long-term strategies to ensure the IT asset catalog accounts for risk, governance and complianceMaintain quality control throughout the lifecycle of all IT assets by developing processes and procedures to track, manage and recommend cost savingsEnsure provisioned assets are tagged into the CMDB and information is up-to-date, accurate, and auditableDevelop strategies and recommendations to optimize technology spendCreate KPIs and metrics and establish a reporting cadenceParticipate with SDLC, Change Management and other processes that impact assets directlyManage vendor agreements to monitor and track hardware and software licenses and warrantiesParticipate in ITSM processes and projects for oversight and awareness of effective asset configuration managementCollaborate with stakeholders to monitor usage of IT assets and record findings, changes, physical location and incidents of supportCoordinate asset disposal activities to ensure compliance with Asset Disposal/destruction standardsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration or Technical CertificationsAt least 5 years of ITSM experienceAt least 5 years hands-on experience in IT asset management or IT asset administrationExperience managing and working with a CMDBExperience designing, implementing and running a Software Asset Management processExperience working with Enterprise Licensing AgreementsExperience with IT Asset procurementCertification or strong understanding of ITIL, ITSM and iTAMStrong communication, planning, organizational and project management skillsNice to have: Understanding of ISO Nice to have: Experience using Service Desk+BenefitsCompetitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, benefits and career advancement opportunitiesBright open concept office environmentLarge kitchens with free coffee and latte makerSupportive teamwork focused environmentOpportunities to give back to communities through charity eventsOngoing social events throughout the yearExtensive training programs to support employee successEqual Opportunity Statement First National is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity and inclusion regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, gender identity, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation and any other category protected by law.
